Why Set Monthly Goals?
It’s important to have long-term goals. They give you a sense of direction and purpose.
Having no long-term goal is like saying “I’m going on a road trip.” Having a long-term goal is like saying “I’m going on a road trip to Maine.”
But equally important are the short-term goals. The short-term goals in this scenario are the directions – “head north on Highway 71.”
Short-term goals can be broken down into monthly, weekly, and even daily goals.
On the last day of each month, review your long-term goals. Then sit down with a pen and paper to write your goals for the following month. It’s important to write your goals on paper!
